The CPSWV608NKIA incorporates STAR Diagnostic Smoke® Technology, inside. It is the simplest and quickest way to find many vehicle system leaks.  Smoke vapor-generating leak detectors containing STAR Technology inside are the only leak detectors in the world approved by automakers (OEMs) which meet all safety standards for EVAP testing as well as for other systems. The patented UltraTraceUV® solution which is a non-contaminating dye trace will not damage vehicle sensors, gaskets or seals and will not void factory warranties. It is also the only smoke technology in the world that meets SAE INTERNATIONAL Published Papers’ safety standards recommendation for testing a vehicle’s fuel evaporative emission system. The CPSWV608NKIA is easy to use - just connect shop air to the patented Nitrogen Generator Handle, 12V power and you are ready to perform EVAP diagnostic leak testing. Technician’s will decrease diagnosis time and more efficiently complete repairs when using the CPSWV608NKIA. An important part of diagnosis is verification. When a Technician can see leakage exists when performing a leak-down test using the flow meter and/or pressure gauge a leak can quickly be located with smoke and/or UltraTraceUV® non-contaminating UV dye. Complete the repair by verifying repair performing a leak-down test using the flow meter and/or pressure gauge.
